Our Shutter Down Series has become a South Bay gathering of amazing singer songwriters. This listening room event gives you the opportunity to get up close and personal with artists we have come to know and love. Mike Longacre is a singer songwriter from Hermosa Beach. Though he only started writing songs in 2018, he has amassed more than 55 songs. Two records made up of 28 songs will be released on January 9th and 10th of 2026 on all streaming platforms. His songs are stories built on human condition and love. Most of the songs were written while he was in his Guitar Shop in Hermosa Beach. When he’s not writing songs, he’s doing his favorite thing…selling vintage, star owned, custom built guitars, and doing repairs for many local musicians. More to come.
